- The Gourd Lady of Rocky Mount is owner and operator of Rocky Mount Gourds and an award winning Fine Crafts Artist, Instructor and Lecturer. She has worked in the Arts In Education Field in Louisiana and was selected to create an ornament for the White House Christmas Tree in 2002. She is also on the Board of the Louisiana Crafts Guild and has won Best of Show in the Louisiana Market Place of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival twice. Susan enjoys sharing her some 15 years of experiences in gourd cultivation and crafting with others.
